Connor: 6 Months

I don't even know where to begin with this post! I found out I was pregnant shortly after Jessie and Kevin announced they were expecting (Jessie is Adam's cousin). We were due 2 months apart, but Connor decided he wanted to see what the world outside of the womb was all about, so he made his appearance a few weeks early! Having baby boys so close in age we have been hanging out with the Lords a lot! It has been so much fun to see how much they have grown in such a short time. Jessie's family had a trip planned to Florida and they graciously decided to lug me, Adam, and Ethan along so that I could take Connor's 6 month photos on the beach! We had such a blast!

Connor is such a stud! Jessie always has him dressed to the nines and this outfit was no exception!
























"OCO" and Pops can not get enough of baby Connor. And if you are wondering what OCO means? It stands for "Oh Cool One." Seriously, who just goes by "Grandma" anymore??

Jessie and Kevin, thanks so much for flying us out there! We had a great time with you guys! And thanks Uncle Spooler for (as usual) being a wonderful source of entertainment. I'm so glad we all got to experience the "ambiance" of the beach as a family! I can't wait for more family trips and to watch Connor and Ethan grow up together! We love you guys!

Pekarcik Family: Zach+Chris+Leah

I don't think I have ever had a mom more excited about getting their kid's photos taken in the entire time I have been shooting as Chantel! After scheduling a session for her kids, Chantel sent me links to outfits she was deciding between for her kids to wear to the session! I love clothes and when you ask me to help pick them out....well I'd LOVE to help! :)

Sam is ONE!!

Sam is such a cutie!! Even in the midst of teething and a runny nose, he was still a good sport about me shoving my camera in his face! He is a whole year old now and he is all boy!! I loved spending time with him because for me, it was like a glimpse into what my future holds...little cowboy boots, baseballs, and mickey mouse!

Happy 1st Birthday Milo

I can not believe it has already been a year since Milo's birth! Milo's mom Donna is a good friend of mine as well as an extremely talented photographer. I remember her cute, pregnant belly at the St. Louis Shot Party in 2010. A lot has changed since then for Donna, her husband Chris, and their first born Roman. Their family went from 3 to 4 and I can only imaging how much fun this past year has been for them as a growing bunch!

During Milo's first year Donna took a picture a day. I think that this is something Milo will look back on and treasure forever and I can only hope I will have the same patience and drive to do that for my baby boy next year!

A Party for Two: Emma and Logan

A first birthday is a milestone. In the first 365 days of life there are a lot of firsts.

First time to roll over. First head lift. First smile. First hand discovery. First tooth. First coo. First clap.

These are among the many exciting firsts parents get to experience. Jay and Cathy however, have the chance to experience it...in double.

Emma and Logan just turned one! They had a rough start...in fact it is nothing short of a miracle that these two are here today, but the Lord had His hand on this family and they have been truly...truly blessed. It was so much fun to be able to capture such in important day and milestone in this family's lives.

And when Cathy and Jay throw a party?...they throw a paaartay!!! From the cupcakes to the cute signs, to the table of baby memorabilia, to the video...everything was so creatively planned and displayed. Just take a look!

So stinkin cute!

Cathy and Jay, thank you both so much for inviting me into your home with open arms! You are both so sweet and made me feel so welcome! It was such a privilege to share in celebrating Emma and Logan's first birthday!
