Shayna and Greg: Married

Shayna and Greg should look familiar to you since they have been on this blog once before! They were married the day after my little sister got married and I believe it might have been the hottest day of the year....I don't believe...I know.

We started the day at St. Joseph's for their ceremony, and then headed to Old Hickory for picture time and party time!

















































Shayna and Greg, thank you both for allowing me to be a part of your special day! And thanks for being good sports about the intense heat!

And a special thank you to Donna Harris for all of your help! You were a life saver for this pregnant lady and I truly appreciate all of your had work!

Evan and Jessica: Engaged (Back Blogging)

I did Jessica and Evan's engagement picures earlier this summer. However, I never blogged it because well....between the sleeping and the puking there really wasn't much time left in the day once I got home from work. However, I LOVED this session (and this couple) and I could never just not blog them!

Jessica and Evan suggested a location I had not yet been before. I love shooting in new locations...especially when those locations have fields! We started the session on the river front in Washington, MO and then headed over to a field nearby....which is where I am going to start...because I'm in love with her bling.

Sean & Michelle: Baby Bump

You know when you buy a new yellow car...and suddenly everywhere you go you see the same yellow car? Well that's how I feel right now...except not with a yellow car...but with the fact that I am carrying a baby. Since the day I saw those two lines on that pregnancy test I feel like everywhere I go, I see pregnant women. And this makes me happy because it helps me to see past the bloating and the morning sickness, to the part of pregnancy that many women actually enjoy!

Seeing Michelle with her cute belly made me really really excited for the next few months! And seeing Michelle with her sweet husband Sean and their dog Riley made me really excited to be starting a family.

Michelle and Sean, you two are beyond adorable together and in the hour I spent with the two of you it was so apparent how much fun you have together!

















I just want to draw a thought bubble above Riley's head here that says, "Get a room!"








Thank you both so much for allowing me to capture such a special time in your lives! I can't wait to see pictures of your baby girl!!! :)

Eric and Sarah: Married

Eric and I have been friends since I was a freshman in high school! After graduation he went to college, and from there, he became a fire fighter! He wasn't always known in our group for being the best at story telling, but you know when he sits down and begins a story with "The other day at work...." it's going to be a good one.

I met Sarah a few years back when she first started dating Eric. I think she is the most positive person I have ever met! She is currently studying sports medicine, and on the side works at every yoga lover's dream store, Lululemon. Which, from what I hear goes along pretty well with her positive attitude towards everything in life.

I just love these two together and I am so excited I got to be a part of their wedding day!































Eric and Sarah, Thank you both SOOOO much for such a fun day and for both being so easy going! And for putting up with me when I wanted to get some pictures at the top of that bluff...up the hill...in the freezing cold...and in the rain! You two are awesome!
