Ashley and Scott: Married

Since I have been so behind on blogging I have BIG plans for the blog this week! My goal is to post 4 days in a row!!! Soooo, check back often because there is a lot to look forward to in the next few days :)

Let's start the week off with Ashley and Scott.

Ashley and Scott said their vows at the Butterfly House in Faust Park. While I have shot at Faust Park many times before, I had never shot a wedding there before. This particular day I pulled up to the park and there was a festival going on...with a lot of orange fencing...around the entire park. Fortunately we were able to do most of the pictures in an area away from all of the bright orange decor.

Both Ashley and Scott's families were extremely nice and welcoming towards Danielle and me. Ashley and Scott were very laid back and easy going which made for a great day considering our time constraints.

Kimi and Nick: Engaged and Getting Hitched...Tomorrow!

Kimi and Nick's engagement session was the last session I shot before getting pregnant. I think it was literally days before. So unfortunately in all of my sicnkess, I never had the chance to blog their photos. Today I just wanted to share a few of my favorites. Why? Because this couple holds a special place in my heart...and I will explain why when I blog their wedding day!

Cadence is THREE!

You might remember Cadence and her family from last year. This year I had the privilege of taking more pictures of Cadence as she turned THREE! I can't believe how fast this year has flown by, and I'm sure it's gone by even quicker for Lauren and Ben as they have watched their little girl turn another year older. Cadence is still as well behaved as ever, and as adorable as ever!

As I was editing this session Adam said, "You aren't going to have very many opportunities to photograph cuter kids than her!" I think he's right...

Evan and Jessica: Married

Evan and Jessica should look familiar to you, they were recently on this very blog. The two of them were my very first winery wedding! It was an absolutely gorgeous day in Augusta, Missouri, and I felt so blessed to be a part of such a special day!
Funny story, when we showed up we realized it was "bring your dog to the winery day." Everyone and their mothers brought their dogs with them. There were dogs everywhere! We were a little worried about one getting loose and terrorizing it's way through the ceremony, but alas, such a catastrophe did not happen.

After the ceremony we headed down to the cellar for a couple shots with Evan and Jessica!

They had a "Wishing Tree" where guests would write down their wishes for the newlyweds. I thought this was an adorable idea!
