Seth + Katie: Married

Words can not explain how much I LOVED working with Seth and Katie for both their engagement session and also on their wedding day! These two are made for the camera. I loved their style! Now I should add, this was my first wedding back from maternity leave so I was learning to deal with all of the extra things that come along with having a baby. In other words I was stressed to the max. I think it's safe to say that this stress did not get in the way...(actually it may have helped because the pressure was on) of the end result. I am so thankful to be able to work with couple like Seth and Katie. We started out the day at Katie's sister Dani's house, who by the way designed both the invitations and the programs.

We then headed to Lafayette park where Seth and Katie did a first look! I LOVE first looks, why? Because then we are able to do all bride and groom pictures as well as bridal party pictures before the ceremony, which always makes for better flow of the day. Oh I also love first looks because they are freakin' adorable. Case and point below.

Perhaps I'm a little bit bias since my little sister Danielle (who is also normally my second shooter) did it, but Katie's hair do might be my favorite to date!

After a minor fiasco with the bridesmaid dresses it was time for the ceremony, where they had music by Timbre.
Also, Seth's dad married the two of them, which of I love. It adds such a level of intimacy when your pastor knows you on a personal level, and when the pastor is your dad...well you can't really get any more personal than that!

And then we all headed to the reception where this group got their DANCE on! Seth and Katie, thank you thank you THANK YOU for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day! I am so thankful and so happy for you two.
